A caption turns a sticker into a ready-made reply: “OK”, “On my way”, “Seriously?!”. You can add text to a sticker from a video or a photo — right in the online editor or in the mini app of @vidsticker_bot.
How to add text to a sticker
- Open vidsticker.com or tap Editor in the chat with the bot, and upload a video or photo.
- Go to the Text tab and type your caption into “Text on the sticker”.
- Pick a font, a color and a style — bold, italic, underline or strikethrough.
- Set the size with the slider and the position: Top, Middle or Bottom. The text shows over the video right away.
- Tap “Make sticker”.
Text in the bot
The bot itself doesn't add text — that's what the editor is for. Made a sticker in the bot? Tap “✏️ Open in the editor” under it: the same video opens in the editor inside Telegram. Add text on the Text tab and make the sticker again.

Make the text readable
- Short. One to three words. A sticker is small in a chat; a long phrase becomes tiny text.
- Big and contrasting. White and yellow come with a dark outline — readable on any background.
- Not over the face. Bottom is the meme classic; if the subject is at the bottom of the frame — Top.
- Emotion + word. The caption should boost what the video shows, not retell it.
Caption ideas

Yes, the Text tab works for both photos and videos.
Can I add text to an emoji?
Yes. On an emoji the text gets bigger automatically — but keep it to one short word: an emoji is the size of a letter.
Can I change the text later?
Yes: tap Edit under the finished sticker, fix the text and make the sticker again. Add the new one to your pack and delete the old one in “My stickers”.
Does the text move?
No, the text stays in place over the video — that makes it easier to read.
Is it free?
