How to make Telegram stickers on Android

On any Android phone — Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi, OnePlus — you can make a Telegram sticker without a separate app: right in Telegram with a bot or in the browser. The sticker goes straight into your sticker pack.

With the bot — the fastest way

  1. Open @vidsticker_bot in Telegram and tap Start.
  2. Tap the paperclip 📎 → Gallery and pick a photo or video. Send a transparent GIF via File so Telegram doesn't recompress it.
  3. Put wishes in the caption: “no bg”, “circle”, “boomerang”, “x2”, “from 0:05”, an emoji for the sticker.
  4. The bot sends the sticker and a link to the pack. Open the link and tap Add Stickers — once. Fix the sticker with the buttons under it: it gets replaced in the pack.

Motion photos become moving stickers

Many Android phones shoot motion photos — a couple of seconds of video around the shot. Telegram 12.6 and later sends them as live photos, and the bot turns them into animated stickers. If your sticker came out still, Telegram sent only the frame — send the same moment as a video.

In the browser or the mini app

  1. Open vidsticker.com in Chrome or tap Editor in the chat with the bot — the same editor opens inside Telegram.
  2. Tap “Drop a video, GIF or photo here” and pick a file from your gallery — or shoot a new one.
  3. Pick the moment on the frame strip. The tabs hold shape and frame, speed and effect, text and background.
  4. Tap “Make sticker”. In the mini app it goes into your pack with one tap; on the website — after logging in with Telegram.
