In plain words: what data the vidsticker service — the vidsticker.com website, the Telegram mini app and the bot @vidsticker_bot — receives, why, and how long it is kept.

What we receive

Videos and files you upload, and the finished stickers, emoji and round videos.
Videos from links — when you make a sticker from a YouTube, TikTok or other link, the server downloads up to 3 minutes of the video and keeps it like an upload.
Your list of packs — the names of your own packs and which one is current, so stickers go to the right one.
Telegram profile data — if you log in on the site, open the mini app or message the bot: your account ID, name, username and app language. We don't have access to your phone number or your chats.
Processing settings — clip, shape, effect, background model — and a technical log: time, processing duration, errors.
Country and language — on the website and in the mini app we determine the country from your IP address and store only the country, not the address; the language comes from Telegram or browser settings. This shows us where people come from and which languages to support.
Referral tag — if you came via a link with a tag, so we know which links work.
Website visit statistics — collected by Yandex Metrica, see below.

Why

To make a sticker, emoji or round video and add it to your Telegram pack.
To improve quality: analyze errors and poor results, test new versions of processing on real videos.
To understand the load and which features people use.

We don't sell your videos or data and don't use them for advertising. Only the owner of the service has access to them.

How long we keep it

Uploaded videos and finished results are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted automatically. Stickers and emoji you added to a pack are stored by Telegram — you can remove them from the pack in “My stickers”. We keep the list of your packs while they exist: without it the service can't find them in Telegram.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner, or to tell you what we store about you, at any time: email support@vidsticker.ru with your Telegram username.

Where the data is processed

The service runs on servers in Russia: the website and bot are hosted by Beget LLC (St. Petersburg), and videos are processed on the service's own computer, also in Russia. By using the service from another country, you agree that your data is processed there.

Cookies and Yandex Metrica

The website uses Yandex Metrica with Session Replay. It sets cookies and records actions on the page — navigation, clicks, scrolling — so we can see where the interface is inconvenient. Your videos never go to Metrica. Metrica data is processed by Yandex LLC under its own rules — see the Yandex privacy policy. You can opt out by blocking cookies for this site in your browser settings. When you sign in, the site also sets its own session cookie — it is needed only to keep you signed in.

To log in on the site, you confirm the sign-in in our bot: it shows the browser and country of the request and passes your profile data to the site only after you press “Yes”. The mini app gets your profile data from Telegram together with Telegram's signature, which we use to verify that the sign-in is genuine. The bot asks for permission to message you — without it, it can't create your pack or send a round video. Stickers, emoji and round videos are sent to Telegram and stored there under Telegram's rules.
