How to play a video backwards — a reverse sticker

A video played backwards is an old trick that still works: a dog runs away tail-first, water jumps back into the glass, a cake puts itself back together. The Reverse effect turns such a moment into a Telegram sticker that rewinds endlessly right in the chat.

How to reverse a video online

1. Open vidsticker.com and upload a video.
2. Pick the moment on the frame strip — up to 3 seconds.
3. On the Time tab tap Reverse.
4. Tap “Make sticker”.

How to reverse a video in the bot

• Send a video to @vidsticker_bot with the caption “reverse” or “backwards”.
• Or tap “✨ Effect” → “⏪ Reverse” under a finished sticker.

Reverse ideas

• A jump into a pool — the person flies out of the water onto the edge.
• A cracked egg, spilled coffee, scattered blocks — everything comes back together.
• Blowing out candles — the flames light up by themselves.
• Flopping onto the couch — and springing back up, cartoon-style.
• Throwing a ball or tossing leaves — they fly back into your hands.
• “Bye” — wave and reverse it: you get “hi” backwards.

Irreversible actions work best: things that never go backwards in real life — falls, splashes, smoke, breaking.

Reverse with other settings

• Speed. “×2” or “×3” fit 6 or 9 seconds of rewound video into a sticker. More than 3 seconds
• Background. Remove it — you get a subject rewinding right on top of the chat.
